Here at East-West Inc, we know that drivers are the most important part of our company. We don’t consider our lack of size to be a disadvantage. We consider it to be our greatest asset. Our size allows us to get to know each and every driver, while doing our best to work within certain request drivers may have. Our drivers have direct access to top management, and are always welcome to discuss any questions they may have.

Our goal is to give drivers the opportunity to be home every five to six days. Our drivers have the option to run solo (east coast), or run as a team (west coast). Solo drivers are asked to work five to six days a week, and are paid by the day. This assures each driver they will be paid regardless of whether they are driving, or if a customer has you held in detention for half the day. In addition to being paid by the day, you are also paid a bonus for exceeding miles expected for the week. This system guarantees you a base salary every week, with an opportunity to earn more if you wish to run more. Team drivers are paid by the trip. Our team trips take roughly five to six days to complete, and they are also paid a bonus mileage for exceeding a threshold for the trip.

We also have a long-standing relationship with Ryder Incorporated. This relationship guarantees drivers that they will not be stranded on the side of the road, or in a shop, for days on end. We rent and lease all of our trucks/trailers through Ryder. Our current fleet consists mostly of 2015 Freightliner Cascadias. If one of our trucks breaks down, Ryder will bring you another truck by the end of the day. This assures you that you will always be running, with the ability to hit your bonus mileage. ​
